This Double Oval Eickhorn Dagger has seen better days, but is still very desirable for the large squirrel factory logo in the double oval. It is still a hard one to find. Starting with the grip, the silver eagle shows wear and the SA enamel is in great shape The grips top is fitted nicely to the upper cross guard. The bottom wood is higher than the cross guard.and bottom. The grip has a vertical crack that goes almost to the bottom of the grip. The crack is almost invisible. the blade has been polished and I do not see any cross grain. The logo is complete and shows well. The Eickhorn logo makes this dagger and is in great shape. The blade has no nicks and has not been sharpened. The scabbard also shows much usage with the obverse appears to be repainted at some time. The reverse has almost no paint left. The leather hanger still usable and has no maker mark on the clip.
