Firstly, this lid has a fake chinstrap on it, we don’t like those but at least it is free. Secondly, this is an ET64 with a lot number of 4557, I wonder if Brian Ice still documents all of these lot numbers? They are not definitive but are an excellent tool to have in the tool box! Anyway, the shell has a good amount of the paint but it also have a lot of wear and a heavy patina. In good light you can see the paint rates strongly but typically the crown has a good amount of wear. The Adler rates “roughly” low to mid 90%ish or so, this will be easier for you to see in the pictures. The national colors rate “roughly” 70-75% or so. Fake chin strap, yuk! But the double banded aluminum liner band is present and houses the liner. One of the fingers is ripped, there is another rip and far from perfect but really not too bad. The leather is pretty healthy but I do not want to disturb it in fear of causing another rip.
